Barron's Dictionaries App Reviews

Bought the book and the “bonus feature” is the “free electronic dictionary.” However, the instructions Barron’s gives for the app do not work. I followed the directions and am now the proud owner of the electronic French/English dictionary—problem is, I want the Spanish/English dictionary. There was no choice given anywhere on the app or via the download process. The buttons that were supposed to be there did not exist. The default is the French dictionary, too bad—offering something that doesn’t exist. Awaiting a response to my inquiry on how to get what was promised. Not supposed to be this difficult.

I too could not download the Spanish English dictionary. Instead the program downloaded the French English dictionary which I had not selected.

I can not open this application directly. Should I also download another application in order to view this one??

I wanted and bought the French Dictionary = It works fine - the verb conjugations are good and the respnses for the most part are clear However —— I got some how the Spanish dictionary — also - maybe it was free ?? 1) how do you remove a dictionary you dont want ( why waste the space / and sometimes the ‘wrong’ dictionary comes up ) 2) even if you have two dictionaries how do you select the a default dictionary - so that each time you open the pgm you get the one you want not the one you dont want you need to improve the ‘preferences’ part of the software - ( well there is no preferences dialogue so we can start with that perhaps?)
